Program Overview

This unique educational event is designed to provide pharmacists with information on a variety of topics integral to the role of the pharmacist in quality cancer care. The program begins with a special networking lunch that gives participants an opportunity to interact and exchange ideas with other colleagues in their profession. Following lunch is a series of panel discussions focused on current issues faced by pharmacists in the areas of pharmacy management, decision-making, and practice. Each panel consists of faculty who are recognized leaders in oncology care from top cancer centers across the U.S.

Intended Audience

This educational activity is designed to meet the educational needs of pharmacists who manage patients with cancer.

Accreditation

The Institute for Continuing Healthcare Education is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education as a provider of continuing pharmacy education.
 
This program is acceptable for 3 hours (.3 CEUs) of continuing education credit in states that recognize ACPE-accredited providers.

In order to receive a statement of credit, conference participants will need to attend each lecture and complete the activity evaluation form. Partial credit will be awarded. Statements of credit will be mailed within 4 to 6 weeks of the meeting.
