Learn more about  clinical trials  at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC) has devoted more than a century to patient care and innovative research, making significant contributions to new and better therapies for the treatment of cancer. The close collaboration between physicians and scientists is one of the Center’s unique strengths and is at the heart of its activity.

MSKCC physicians have an extraordinary depth and breadth of experience in diagnosing and treating all forms of cancer, from the most common to the very rare. Each year, they treat more than 400 different subtypes. While known for advanced, innovative therapies, physicians are equally well regarded for their compassion and concern for patients.

MSKCC patients are treated by as many different specialists as are needed for their particular type of disease, including surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, psychiatrists, and nurses.

Memorial Sloan-Kettering has a very active clinical trials program aimed at identifying more effective-cancer therapies. Physicians are currently leading more than 400 clinical trials for pediatric and adult cancers.

MSKCC’s main campus is in Manhattan, and there are regional outpatient sites in Westchester and Long Island, New York and Basking Ridge, New Jersey.  In 2008, outpatient visits totaled 467,000 and nearly 23,000 patients were admitted for inpatient care.
