Program Goal
The goal of this program is to provide participants with increased knowledge regarding the innovative therapies and treatment methods used for the management of patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma (RCC).
Educational Objectives
Following this activity, participants should be able to:
- List targeted therapies available for the treatment of advanced RCC
- Discuss the clinical application of targeted therapies in the treatment of advanced RCC
- Identify appropriate patients with advanced RCC for treatment with targeted therapies
- Explain side effects associated with the use of targeted therapies in patients with advanced RCC
Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the educational needs of physicians, nurses, and other clinical professionals who manage patients with cancer.
Activity Instructions
Continuing education credit will be awarded to participants who listen to the presentation and complete the evaluation. Participants should review the learning objectives and faculty disclosure statement prior to listening to a presentation in its entirety. You must be connected to the Internet in order to review and complete the evaluation form. A statement of credit will be electronically generated once you complete the evaluation form. To receive credit, this activity must be completed no later than May 19, 2009. There is no fee for participating in this activity.
