Program Goal
The goal of this program is to provide advanced practice oncology nurses with information on the management of venous thromboembolic disease in cancer patients.
Educational Objectives
Following this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the patient population at risk for the development of venous thromboembolism
- Discuss the current treatment strategies for managing venous thromboembolism
Intended Audience
This educational activity is designed to meet the educational needs of advanced practice nurses who manage patients with cancer.
Activity Instructions
Continuing education credit will be awarded to participants who listen to the presentation and complete the evaluation.
